“ပညာအရာ အၾကီးမားဆံုးေသာ ေခမာေထရီ”(Part1)

The name “Khema” means “security” . ေခမာအမည္သည္ ေဘးရန္အမ်ိဳးမ်ိဳးမွ ကင္းေ၀းျခင္းဟု အဓိပၸါယ္ ရသည္။ The Queen Khema belonged to the royal family from the land of Magadha. ေခမာမိဖုရား သည္ မဂဓတိုင္း ေတာ္၀င္မိသားစုမွ ဆက္သက္လာသူေလးပါ။ She reached marriageable age she became one of the chief consorts of King Bimbisara.သူမ လက္ထပ္ရမည့္ အရြယ္ကို ေရာက္ေတာ့ ဗိမၺိသာရမင္းၾကီး၏ မိဖုရားေခါင္ေတြထဲက မိဖုရား ေခါင္တစ္ေယာက္ျဖစ္လာခဲ့တယ္။ She was extremely beautiful and proud of her beauty.သူမဟာ အလြန္ဘဲ လွပပါေပတယ္၊ ထိုအလွေၾကာင့္လဲ မာနလဲ ၾကီးလွပါေပ၏။ The king wanted her to go the Veluvana Monastery and pay homage to the Buddha. ဘုရင္ၾကီးသည္ ေခမာမိဖုရားကို ေ၀ဠဳ၀န္ေက်ာင္းသို႔ သြားေရာက္၍ ျမတ္စြာဘုရားကို ဖူးေစခ်င္သည္။ But she had heard that the Buddha always talked disparagingly about beauty. သို႔ေသာ္ ျမတ္စြာဘုရားသည္ အလွအပကို ႏွိပ့္ခ်ေဟာေျပာေလ့ရွိေၾကာင္းကို သူမၾကားသိေနျပီး ျဖစ္ေနေလသည္။ She therefore tried to avoid seeing the Buddha. ထို႔ေၾကာင့္လဲ ျမတ္စြာဘုရားကို ဖူးျမင္ျခင္းမွ ေ၀းေ၀းက ေရွာင္ေနေလေတာ့သည္။ And then, the Great king wanted her to know of the vanity of sensual pleasures, to which she was tightly attached. ျပီးေတာ့ ဘုရင္ၾကီးသည္ သူမ တန္းတန္းစြဲ တပ္ႏွစ္သက္ေနေသာ ကာမဂုဏ္ စည္းစိမ္မ်ား၏ အခ်ည္းႏွီးျဖစ္မွဳကို သူ၏ မိဖုရားေခါင္ၾကီး မယ္ေခမာကို သိေစခ်င္သည္။ That's why he hired a troop of singers to sing songs to her in praise of the peacefulness and beauty of the Bamboo Grove monastery. ထို႔ေၾကာင့္ မင္းၾကီးသည္ သူ၏ မိဖုရားၾကီးထံတြင္ ေ၀ဠဳ၀န္ေက်ာင္းေတာ္၏ ျငိမ္းခ်မ္းမွဳနွင့္ အလွအပဘြဲ႔ျဖစ္ေသာ သီခ်င္းမ်ားကို ဆိုရန္ ကေခ်သည္ အဆိုေတာ္တစ္ေယာက္ကို ငွားရမ္းခဲ့သည္။ As Khema loved the beauties of nature she decided to visit there after listening to it. မယ္ေခမာသည္ အလွအပကို ခ်စ္ျမတ္ႏိုးသူ တစ္ေယာက္ျဖစ္သည္ အားေလွ်ာ္စြာ ထိုသီခ်င္းကို နားေထာင္ျပီးေသာအခါ ေ၀ဠဳ၀န္ေက်ာင္းကို သြားဘို႔ရန္ ဆံုးျဖတ္ခဲ့သည္။(To be continued)
